Cafe Lucci’s motto, “Good Food, Good Wine, Good People,” is the distinguishing hallmark of this North Shore family-owned and operated restaurant, which is a favorite for neighborhood regulars, including many executives and professionals who hail from nearby corporations and businesses. Cafe Lucci also is a weekend and special-occasion destination for many folks who live in Chicago and have discovered an exceptional dining experience in Glenview.

Recently, Cafe Lucci underwent a total interior renovation creating a new look that is contemporary, chic and sophisticated – a total departure from the former Old-World ambiance inherited by the Arifi family when they assumed ownership of the 120-seat space in 1995. In1999, the exterior also underwent a drastic makeover.

“The all-new decor reflects and enhances our reputation for fine food, outstanding wines and extraordinary personal service,” says Bobby Arifi.

In addition to its extensive menu of regional Italian cuisine, prime steaks, chops and daily fresh fish, Cafe Lucci has become renowned for its wine program, which has resulted in the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2002 – 2007. The 2007 wine list, now available online, features 540 selections.

Cafe Lucci’s private party room is perfect for personal occasion and business entertaining. Some time in 2008, it will undergo a major renovation to complement the new decor in the main dining rooms. Accommodating 30-60, it also will feature The Alcove, a unique space lined with bottles of wine that will be conducive to private wine tastings or intimate dinners for 10-12. New in 2007 are a Lucci To Go menu (“Home Entertaining Made Easy”) and updated banquet menus.

Cafe Lucci is open for lunch Monday – Friday and dinner seven days with complimentary valet parking in the evening. Reservations are honored by calling 874-729-2268.
